Turning around and going back takes longer that keep going. Just when I think I've discovered most of the biomes, there's this whole second world below that! Looks like I'm going to need to update my map with the 4 entrances as well as a LR map on the back! This game just keeps blowing me away. Is silent running a power hog? Seems so. Which way to this Cove Tree I've heard so much about? Are all those little critters baby Ghosts? Is that big green mist room with the Ghost a central room of sorts? Just wondering if all the routes in connect somewhere. Now, on the top image the alien structure is marked, and on the bottom image the alien structure is where the blue arrow is, I just. So I headed thru the tunnel and came to that same big room with the Ghost. I headed off to LP2 to see if I could find my way into the Kelp Zone entrance, and I did! It was actually really close to my scanning station in the Islands. Reading another thread (ignoring all talk of lava and such) really made me want to discover the other two entrances. I went through the very dark entrance in the Trench once or twice but got very lost. Went in and got to a large, green area with a Ghost Leviathan. ![]() Given that these crystals are important for numerous vehicle upgrades and plot-relevant devices, they're an absolute necessity to collect.I knew about the Degassi entrance, it was the first one I discovered. The only downside is that said brine will cause damage if players are directly touched, but that's nothing a Prawn Suit can't handle. The crystals also tend to coagulate in the brine pools of the River, which most creatures tend to avoid. ![]() Though brimming with dangerous fauna, it's nowhere near as deep or hot as the former regions. The Giant Cove Tree is a unique species of flora that currently only one can be found growing exclusively in the Tree Cove section of the Lost River. The Lost River is slightly better for sulfur hunting. Only a fully upgraded Prawn Suit and/or Cyclops can safely navigate these areas. The lattermost regions are full of hostile creatures, lethal heats, and crushing depths.
